Information Sessions

According to its specific attributions, the Romanian Cultural Contact Point is providing relevant information concerning the calls for proposals organized within the Community Programme “Culture 2007-2013” and other sources of funding in the cultural sector. Also, the Romanian CCP is entitled to ensure, upon request, specialized consultancy and methodological assistance to cultural operators eligible for accessing Community grants from the “Culture” Programme.

In this respect, the Romanian Cultural Contact Point is organizing, upon request and at its own initiative, information sessions and workshops.

The seminar ”Multilingualism and the European Year of International Dialogue 2008”

In the framework of the Gaudeamus International Book and Education Fair, Radio Romania and Gaudeamus will organise the seminar ”Multilingualism and the European Year of International Dialogue 2008” in the Central Pavilion of Romexpo Exhibition Center in Bucharest, between 21-22 November 2008.

The event will be honoured by the presence of Ms. Sandra Pralong, president of Synergy Communications and ambassador of the EYID 2008 in Romania and of Ms. Martine Reicherts, director general of the Office for Official Publications of the European Communities, as well as by important personalities of the cultural and literary scene in Romania – professors, publishers, writers, translators, journalists.

Within the working session of Saturday 22 November (between 12.15 and 13.30), Mr. Vladimir Simon, the director of the Consultancy Centre for European Cultural Programmes, will present the Culture (2007-2013) Programme of the EU, with special focus on strand 1.2.2 dedicated to projects of literary translations.

Presentation of theCulture (2007-2013) Programme and launching of a video-contest in Timisoara, October 5th

At the request of the Organization of the Students from the West University from Timisoara, the Cultural Contact Point hosted by the Consultancy Centre for European Cultural Programmes will present to the students from Timisoara  the Culture 2007-2013 Programme.

On this ocassion, the Cultural Contact Point will launch a video-contest regarding the Culture (2007-2013) Programme. The contest will be open to all those who are currently enrolled in a Romanian university. The contest is organized with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs through the Culture (2007-2013) Programme. and the European Union,

The event will take place on October 5th, at the headquarters of the Students’ Information Centre, students’ dorm nr 15, 4th floor. The session will begin at 11:00 and the participation is free of charge.

Information session in Tîrgu-Mureş on October 5-6, 2007

At the request of the “Constantin Silvestri” International Foundation from Tîrgu-Mureş, the Cultural Contact Point hosted by the Consultancy Centre for European Cultural Programmes will organise an information session regarding the new call for proposals of the communitary Programme „Culture (2007-2013)”.

Information session in Braşov on August 28, 2007

At the request of the “Gheorghe Bariţiu” Public Library, the Cultural Contact Point hosted by the Consultancy Centre for European Cultural Programmes will organize an information session regarding the new calls for proposals of the “Culture 2007-2013” Programme.

The event will take place in the attic of Baiulescu House of the “Gheorghe Bariţiu” Public Library.

Participation is free of charge for all cultural operators, but you must register until August 22.
