Culture in Motion brochure

Directorate General Education and Culture of the European Commission issued a new publication entitled “Culture in Motion”, which presents a series of projects funded by the EU’s Culture Programme from 2000 until today. Case-studies - Romanian organizations in projects co-financed by the Culture Programe

Cultural Contact Point of Romania published in 2008 two case-studies of succesful participation of Romanian organizations in collaboration projects co-financed by the EU, through the Culture Programme.

The Challenge of Channeling Cultural Policy into Action. A Report on the European Cultural Clusters Forum, Braşov, Romania, 22-23 September 2008

Brochure dedicated to the 6th annual forum organised by the Cultural Contact Point of Romania on the topic of European cultural initiatives of the cluster type, based on territorial co-operation, transversal approach and integrated economic development.

The report identifies a number of shared concerns expressed by participants. These feature contextual elements and needs as a background for the ensuing recommendations. The role of the recommendations is to support specific policies in the area of cultural clusters and their contribution to the wider creative economy.  The brochure also includes the case study of one of the projects presented during the forum:
The Rupea-Cohalm Micro-Region - A Local Development Pilot Project, as part of the Council of Europe Regional Programme for Cultural and Natural Heritage in South East Europe.
