Study: Culture 2000 – a Platform for Intercultural Dialogue

The Consultancy Centre for European Cultural Programmes published a study entitled “Culture 2000 – a Platform for Intercultural Dialogue” (in Romanian and English), focusing on analysing the efficiency of the Culture 2000 Programme in Romania from the point of view of its development and impact.

The study highlights the impact of the Programme in Romania, its success among the organisations carrying out projects with European dimension, as well as the importance of international collaboration for developing successful and sustainable projects. The study looks at the following aspects related to the Romanian participation in the Programme: the profile of the organisations involved (coordinators, co-organisers, partners); the priority fields of interest to our operators and the evolution of their interests; the impact of the implemented projects on the organisations involved and on their target audience; the evaluation of the Programme by its participants (the evolution of cooperation, benefits, problems, the relationship with the EU representatives); recommendations for future project applications within the new framework, Culture 2007-2013.

This research was carried out by Mrs. Alexandra Zbuchea, under the coordination of Mrs. Mioara Lujanschi (coordinator of the Cultural Contact Point) and with the support of the team of the Consultancy Centre for European Cultural Programmes, of the organisations managing projects under the Culture 2000 Programme and of the Romanian evaluators involved in the selection processes at European level.
